Appraisal Category

The Appraisal Category Maintenance allows you to create 'Appraisal Categories' which may be used to provide additional meaning to an Appraisal. If you have an 'Appraisal' called ‘Pay Raise Appraisal’, you could then use the Appraisal Category as a ‘Reason Code’ as to why the 'Appraisal' is being given. The 'Appraisal Category' is not required, so it can be used creatively, whatever works best for your organization. If the end User is given the appropriate rights, they may override the 'Appraisal Category' on an 'Appraisal' after it has been created in LightWork.

Appraisal Category List
Upon navigation into the Appraisal Category Maintenance, you will see a list of all configured Appraisal Categories. You’re also able to create new Appraisal Categories that will be available for selection to provide additional meaning while creating a new 'Appraisal', or for assignment in an 'Appraisal Template'.

  1. New
    To create a new 'Appraisal Category' click on the 'New' icon.

  2. ID
    Enter the ID for this Appraisal Category.

  3. Description
    Enter a Description for the Appraisal Category.

  4. Save
    Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on 'Save'.
